Czereśnie (Cherries) were formed in 2017 in Krakow, Poland. They play songs about the most important things: protecting nature, taking care of your own health, loving your loved ones, respecting diversity. Targeted at the youngest, but avoiding infantilisation. Performed in a lively form, full of shared fun and interaction with the audience. A children's ensemble unlike any other – Czereśnie.
Andrzej Zagajewski, winner of Polityka's Paszport, together with the band Hańba!, has created music which is not only made for fun, but also for stimulating the development of every human being, especially the youngest – their sensitivity, creativity and abilities. Czereśnie's performances are an opportunity to get to know the whole range of instruments and their sounds: drums, banjo, mandolin, bass guitar and even tuba or clarinet. The young audience has the chance to participate in a real concert, performed by professional musicians experienced on stages from the United States, throughout Europe, to as far away as China and Australia. It is, however, a lot of fun – the kids are not only drawn into dancing, stomping or clapping, but also playing songs together on small instruments.
