About Isara

The members of Isara are lovers of the music of England, Scotland and Ireland. The band's repertoire includes both instrumental pieces and ballads with interesting stories and Czech lyrics, approached with respect for the original lyrics and melodies. Thanks to the instrumentation (drums, bass, electric and acoustic guitar, keyboards, mandolin, Irish bouzouki, Irish flutes and whistles), the influence of various musical genres and the willingness to experiment, their style could be described as celt-folk-rock. For the members of Isara, music is one of the most beautiful things in the world, and they believe that their time on stage will never get old.

Isara has performed at a number of festivals dedicated to the culture of the British Isles, as well as folk and multi-genre events, both in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland. Isara is also active as a promoter. Since 2010 it has been organising club concerts Na scestí, a benefit music festival Isarafest and since 2021 also travelling concerts of a smaller format called UnderFolk. They have several albums to their credit, including Demo (2010), Na scestí (2013), Láska, moře, smrt… (2017), Jamie (2017) and Na vlně (2022).
