Rival Consoles is a London-based producer who has made a name for himself by "expertly wringing soul and atmosphere from cool synth sounds". Fascinated with sound from an early age, he studied sound engineering in his native Leicester. Since the beginning of his career he has been experimenting with a wide range of sounds, although he started out as a guitarist and discovered electronics later. He has published 5 albums. He is compared to such artists as Nils Frahm and Peter Broderick. Like them, he combines traditional, acoustic sounds with electronics.
