Eklektický mix divadla, komedie, hudby, tance a poezie se koná každý rok na několika jevištích na Malé Straně v Praze.

Festival se pravidelně koná na konci května, kdy během 6 festivalových dní mají diváci unikátní možnost zhlédnout práci stovek umělců z celého světa. Ti přijíždějí do Prahy s tradičními i experimentálními představeními, které prezentují na jedinečných jevištích v historickém centru jednoho z nejkrásnějších měst na světě.

Každý rok se na Malé Straně odehraje na 200 představení 40 různých divadelních show. Hraje se každý den od pozdního odpoledne do pozdního večera, kdy se všichni návštěvníci scházejí spolu s vystupujícími umělci ve Fringe klubu, kde pokračuje zábava do brzkých ranních hodin.
