Über DZ Deathrays
DZ Deathrays (früher Denzel, dann DZ) sind ein australisches Dance-Punk-Trio aus Brisbane, Queensland. Bestehend aus Shane Parsons (Gesang/Gitarre), Lachlan Ewbank (Leadgitarre/Gesang) und Simon Ridley (Schlagzeug) veröffentlichten sie zwei EPs, bevor sie im April 2012 ihr Debütalbum Bloodstreams heraus brachten, welches als Best Hard Rock/Heavy Metal Album bei den 2012 ARIA Awards ausgezeichnet wurde. Bisher haben sie insgesamt vier Studioalben veröffentlicht: Bloodstreams (2012), Black Rat (2014), Bloody Lovely (2018) und das neueste Positive Rising Part 1 von 2019.
