One of the main aims is protection of the Greater slow loris, combating illegal wildlife trade and raising public awareness. Kukang is the Indonesian name for the protected prosimian species of the Greater slow loris. This little primate is unique especially thanks to the fact that it is the only venomous primate in the world. For their cuteness, slow lorises are often traded at black market and abused as tourist attraction in exotic countries where they are offered for taking photos for money.
