Mount Eerie is a moniker of Phil Elverum, based in Anacortes, WA. Elverum combines folk structures with an unusual blend of indie rock, black metal, and electronics. His defining moment though came in 2017 with the release of "A Crow Looked at Me", the stunning ode to his late wife Geneviève.
