Sigur Rós is an Icelandic post-rock band that was founded in Reykjavik in August 1994. Their music, based on untouched nature and life in Iceland, uses melodic, classical, experimental and minimalist elements. Listeners around the world admire their unmistakable and enchanting music, which sounds tantalizing and mysterious for a while then changes into a storm.
