Stanislav Kolíbal - Jiný Svět

‘This exhibition’, he notes, ‘has not been conceived as a chronology of my life’s work, but it does offer the visitor a number of pieces that have yet to be considered or have got lost on the foreign market or have never been shown before in the Czech Republic.’ Conceived by Kolíbal himself, the exhibition offers a synthesis of the his world, whose co-ordinates are geometry and abstract art, perceived as part of the broader questions of human existence and the meaning of life.The exhibition is held under the auspices of Václav Klaus, President of the Czech Republic.
