Über Swingrowers

Swingrowers (pronounced “Swing-Growers”) are a young, dynamic Italian trio from Palermo in Sicily. They take their name and inspiration from the farming tradition of their local villages where cultivating plants in the arid countryside is a much-prized art, taking time and skill. So the trio aim to take vintage swing and with respect and nurture, breathe new life into an old tradition.

Roberto Costa a.k.a. “Pisk”, Loredana Grimaudo and Alessio Costagliola melt perfectly together past musical experienced which become fertiliser for the “Swing-Growers”. The idea of electro-swing sound came after discovering new sounds, like the French band Caravan Palace’s ones. Here the brave enterprise to launch on a “dry land” like Italy.
