The Blend + concert Jeremy Chapman Quartet

Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of whisky and enjoy pleasant moments during The Blend programme, which will not only enable you to enhance your knowledge of the production and history of Chivas Regal blended Scotch whisky, but will also allow you to experience the unique craft of blending whisky, as you will create one blended whisky for your own pleasure. In the course of the 1.5-hour programme under the leadership of experienced whisky ambassador Zdeněk Kortiš, you will learn a number of interesting facts and be able to taste several different types of whisky including grain whiskey and single malt whisky from the four main whisky regions of Scotland. The highlight of the programme will be the moment when you create your own original blended whisky from selected types of whisky, which you can take home with you. Only persons over the age of 18 may participate in the event.

Jeremy Chapman Quartet:

British saxophonist and flautist, Jeremy Chapman, presents material from his debut album, From The Old. Chapman was born in Egypt, he grew up in Beirut, Lebanon and moved to England at the age of 11. From 1997 to 2014, he was based between Lebanon and the UK and has performed throughout the Middle East and Europe. He moved to the Czech Republic in the summer of 2014 to teach music at the International School of Prague. On the 29th March, he will perform with three of Prague’s most brilliant jazz musicians: Libor Smoldas on guitar, Jakub Zomer on Hammond organ and Tomas Hobzek on drums. They will be performing their original compositions as well as a few of the classic jazz standards.
