Forever Amy is a music project celebrating the music and work of the one and only Amy Winehouse. The project was created by musicians who created the original band Amy Winehouse, recording albums with her and performing on stage. The project was headed by Dale Davis, Amy's music director and bass player, and a privately long-time friend of the artist, who together with Amy's keyboardist Richard Cardwell decided to create a music project that will cultivate Amy Winehoue's musical heritage in the most authentic way possible. Participation in the project was quickly confirmed by other members of Amy's band: Hawie Gondwe, her guitarist, Nathan Allen drummer, Ben Edwards trumpeter and Jim Hunt saxophonist, flute player and arranger; responsible for one of the most characteristic sounds in Amy's songs. The band was complemented by Dominic Glover, one of the best trumpet players in London. The project became a sensation in 2017 in Great Britain.
