About Dominik Heřman Lev

Dominik started on the stage of the U Hasičů theatre in the satirical show Hezky česky aneb Jak se nám žije, of which he was also a co-author. In 2007 he started performing in the show Na stojáka! and became a pioneer of the Anglo-American concept of stand up comedy in the Czech Republic – no sketches, retold internet jokes and props. A style that dominates the Czech stand up comedy scene today. Nowadays he performs both alone in his solo 90-minute stand up shows, and with his colleagues in Na stojáka! shows. In 2011, he started producing regular stand-up comedy shows by English-speaking professional comedians in Prague and later in Brno under his own brand Crown Comedy Club. Czech audiences were also introduced to Michael Winslow and English star Jimmy Carr. In conjunction with the Fource agency, he then brought to the Czech Republic the greats of the stand-up genre, such as Louis CK, Bill Burr, Eddie Izzard or Jim Gaffigan.
