Über Zbyněk Baladrán

Zbynek Baladrán is an author, artist and curator. He studied art history at the Faculty of Arts of Charles University in Prague in 1992-1997 and in 1997-2003 he attended the studio of visual communication Jiří David, painting studio and new media studio at the Prague Academy of Fine Arts. It is one of the founders and curators space for contemporary art display, which was founded in Prague in 2001, in 2007, a combination of tranzitem.cz tranzitdisplay where Baladrán participates in the exhibition program. He is also co-curator – together with Vit Havránek project and exhibition Monument to Transformation, a three-year research project of social and political transformation. Baladrán is also a member of the team of curators (tranzit.org) for Manifesta 8, held in Murcia in Spain in 2010. His work can be characterized as a search for connections between the past and its structure in relation to the prevailing epistemological paradigms. – Translated by Automatic service
