About 17 Hippies
17 Hippies is a thirteen-member Berlin band that combines musical styles from all over the world with rock and pop music on predominantly acoustic instruments. Their music is a mixture of Eastern European melodies and rhythms with French chanson and American folk music, their lyrics are in German, English and French. Occasionally they are called the founders of Berlin Style. To date, the band has released twenty albums, including their debut_Rock'n Roll_ from 1997 and their latest Kirschenzeit from 2018.
