The first edition of the African Beats Festival. The best artists from the country and the world will play during the all-night celebration of African music.

The star of the event will be Bombino - the first Niger artist in history to be nominated for a Grammy. He was born in 1980 in Tidene, a Tuareg camp. His unique, electroacoustic sound and lyrics in Tamasheq, addressing matters related to his Tuaric heritage and attachment to the desert captivated listeners around the world. The artist's music seems to have no limits - it's a sublime but energetic mix of traditional Berber elements, blues, rock'n'roll and reggae. During this night, Tamikrest will also perform - a band that combines Tuaric culture with sounds and visions from other parts of the world encountered during endless tours. In their music you can find dub, blues, psychedelia, funk and even art-rock. They come from Kidal, in the north-east of Mali, but war, persecution and political crisis forced most of them to emigrate to Algeria. During the festival, there will also be a Polish representation: The Afronauts from Krakow, who in their repertoire, in addition to their own compositions, included afro beat hits of artists from Nigeria, Mali and Ghana. Ayoub Houman - a musician from Morocco, who combines blues and flamenco - will also perform on stage.
