The title of the exhibition refers to the time it takes for a photon emitted from the Sun to reach the Earth's surface. Visitors to the exhibition will be guided along an audio-visual path linking space to Earth. In it, the character of the narrator will link the issues occupying the minds of female scientists exploring outer space with the phenomena of Earth and the concerns of its inhabitants. Reflections following the immensity and enigmas of the universe will address questions about the position of the Earth and man in relation to the laws governing the cosmos, anthropocentrism, the need to discover new worlds and cross the successive boundaries of the 'unexplored', or, finally, concern for our immediate sphere of life. Life-giving and death-giving energy from the stars, cosmic distances, riddles of black holes, dark matter and dark energy, the colonisation of the Solar System become the canvass of the stories of the 8-minute journey of a luminous particle from the Sun to the Earth on the arrow of time. According to the introductory text of the exhibition, "what is eternity on Earth is nothing in the face of the immensity of the universe. Today, one can see through its blackness. It will become the lens of important, and perhaps even more important, matters."

The organisers recommend bringing a smartphone and headphones – visitors to the exhibition can listen to the narrative using their own devices while viewing the objects and illustrations located in the gallery.
