New Zealand singer Aldous Harding is coming to Prague, where she will perform at the Akropolis Palace on April 4, 2023. Welsh singer H. Hawkline will perform as support.
When Aldous Harding performs, it's not just about her singing, her stage presence is intense - whether it's her vocal delivery or the way she gestures and moves around the stage. Aldous Harding released her debut in 2014, and with her unique approach to independent folk, she immediately drew attention to herself. Her next album Party from 2017 was already released under the label 4AD. Thanks to her dramatics, she has earned many comparisons to Kate Bush. John Parish (PJ Harvey, Jenny Hval) took care of the production, together they also recorded another album Designer (2019), which was highlighted by influential media from Rolling Stone to Pitchfork. Harding and Parish are currently working on another album, the first the single Old Peel is now available to listen to.
Aldous Harding will be preceded by H. Hawkline, who in addition to Aldous collaborates with Cate Le Bon and/or Devendra Banhart, but above all is a unique singer-songwriter himself. Weird pop and hypnotic indie folk at its best.
