Andrew Combs + support: Alasdair Bouch

Andrew Combs is a singer-songwriter from Nashville, TN, who has a gift for fusing contemporary Americana with country-pop in the style of Mickey Newbury, Harry Nilsson or Townes Van Zandt to name a few. He has four highly acclaimed albums to his credit as well as a tour with the famous Shovels & Rope.

To Prague he will bring his new album Sundays, which was written after a mental breakdown he suffered at Christmas 2020 – in the middle of a long monotonous work in the ongoing global pandemic. The eleven songs manage to capture that sense of mental and emotional dislocation, the anxious tension of breaking down, the inability and grasping at anything one can grab onto to regain balance.

Andrew Combs will appear in Prague and the Czech Republic for the very first time and will perform with his own band.
