About Atmos
Tomasz Balicki, better known as Atmos, is a Polish-Swedish Malmö-based DJ and live act focussing on the genres progressive trance and psytrance. The foundation of the career reaches back to the early seventies, when he watched television for the first time as a young boy. He was instantly fascinated by the different soundtracks and jingles and his deep interest for music was born.
After learning to DJ in his bedroom Tomasz decided to start producing his own music and released his first single in 1996 through Pablo Gargano's label, EVE records. The single sold well and gave him confidence to strive for more. Balicki's influences reach from electronic music to ambient rock, quickly elaborating an own style that made him a successful trance producer.
Under his Atmos moniker he has released several albums, many singles and has created countless contributions for compilations. He has been touring many parts of the world, performing at various kinds of events for more than fifteen years. His sense for merging rhythms with delicate melodies to a well-produced, groovy sound fascinates the crowds at various dance floors.
