About Beatsteaks
The German band Beatsteaks are a key part of the country's mainstream rock circuit, regularly headlining festivals and enjoying a great deal of commercial success. Formed in Berlin in 1995, Beatsteaks were initially a punk band, with their debut record 48/49 (1997) taking cues from ska punk and their second, Launched (2000), released on the seminal American punk label Epitaph Records. Their releases since saw them move into a more generalized alternative rock style, with forays into pop punk and hard rock. Currently, their latest LP is 2017's Yours.
