The world’s most visited exhibition returns to Poland after 4 years.

The exhibition will be open to the public from 6 December 2022, until 2 April 2023, in the heart of the capital, in the Palace of Culture and Science. A new exhibition by the inventor of plastination Dr Gunther von Hagens Body Worlds – Vital will be presented. The exhibition by the famous anatomist has definitely made history by becoming the most visited exhibition of all time with a total of more than 50 million visitors. It has been delighting for a quarter of a century, arousing great excitement and interest wherever it appears. In 2018, the Body Worlds exhibition from The Cycle of Life series was presented in Warsaw – visitors then had the opportunity to learn about the changes occurring in the human body – from conception, through infancy, childhood, adulthood, to the autumn of life. In 2022, viewers will see the Body Worlds exhibition from the Vital series, which inspires a life of vitality and strength. It enables visitors to discover human anatomy, physiology as well as health.

The exhibition features more than 150 real human body exhibits that showcase the potential of the human body in motion, its anatomical form and the complexity of its functions. You will see exactly how the human body works when healthy and learn about ways to combat life-threatening diseases. The exhibition inspires people of all ages to take care of themselves and their condition. To this end, healthy and diseased organs are displayed side by side, so visitors can see how lifestyle affects the body: for example, how smoking affects the lungs, and how sugar, bad fats and salt accelerate the ageing process, significantly increasing the risk of many chronic diseases.
