Bonaventure uses music as a tool for exploring her identity between African and European influences and question human relationships. Bonaventure's compositions are expressive but intuitive, her sound palette takes shape inside complex influences, often opposed to each other. Her musical expression includes the sounds of hard club tracks as well as soft synthesizer waves. Bonaventure's music and her positive attitude quickly drew the attention of international culture and music platforms such as The Wire Magazine, Groove Magazine, AQNB or Resident Advisor. For her debut EP she worked together with Coucou Chloé, Endgame, Hannah Black and Ziúr. A special collaboration, Anxietina, which she created together with Hannah Black on behalf of DIS Magazine and Berlin Community Radio, was part of the 2016 Biennale Berlin and was performed at the London Institute of Contemporary Arts as well as at Bloc during the PAN label night.
