About Christian Löffler
He began his adventure with sounds at the age of 14. Living in the outback, he taught himself the basics of electronic music and drew inspiration from the nature around him. The result of his search is a distinctive, organic sound in which technical mastery is as important as the mood the music evokes. In this respect he is sometimes compared to Kiasmos, Four Tet or Nicholas Jaar. Christian's first recordings saw the light of day in 2008, and his breakthrough came in 2012 with the release of his album "A Forest." Since then, the German's position in the world of electronica has been on the rise, and with "Mare," released in 2016, he only confirmed his status. Christian Löffler remains one of the most versatile figures on the German scene: he proves himself as a club DJ, a guest at summer festivals or in performances with a string quartet.
