What makes a natural disaster natural? Droughts have no mind and floods have no aim. Despite this fact, these situations make social systems visible, uncovering their dynamics and weak spots. As part of a composed evening entitled How to Drink the City, joined by guests will be discussed the perspective of the city as a collectively formed phenomenon that is the sum of both human and non-human activity. This perspective will allow to revise the binary perspective on culture vs. nature and inquire into the kinds of relationships that can be developed with the river.
