Deena comes from the Tunisian alternative scene and brings a dose of innovation and experimentation to electronic dance music. She combines urban rhythms and influences from her own personal experiences. This results in an energetic, avant-garde approach to electronic music.
The Tunisian producer and DJ moved to France at the age of 26 after gaining experience in the Tunis scene as part of the collective Arabstazy. Her hybrid DJ sets brought the young artist to sought-after venues in the club scene, including Boiler Room, Concrete and Berghain.
As a producer, her debut EP Klabb was released on InFiné in 2017, and her debut album, Khonnar, followed in November 2018 on the same label. The entire album breaks the codes of bass, techno and experimental music and sets a manifesto for a generation that doesn't want to conform.
