Schotty cleans the bloodied bathroom of an apartment when the doorbell rings. It is not the murderer who returns to the scene, but a prostitute who wants to visit her client. When she learns that he was murdered, she wants to flee the apartment.
Schotty manages to persuade her to stay. It almost seems like they even have sex with each other, because both consider their jobs to be tempered. Ultimately, they do not defile their bodies, but their souls.
