Dlina Volny, a dark-wave trio from Minsk, uses the motoricity of drum machines, classic synths and post-punk bass parts in their sound to add a new dimension to the traditions of the genre. Associated with Johnny Jewel's Italians Do It Better (Chromatics), the band writes songs about dichotomies of passion and fear, hope and despair, euphoria and suffering; they have two studio albums to their credit, the most recent of which is 2021's Dazed.
