About Elysium

The Russian band Elysium fits in no drawer. Their unique style of music, the so-called 'cosmos rock', is an explosive mixture of punk, ska, metal, reggae, disco, surf and many other styles, sometimes mixed in completely unpredictable proportions. Rock guitars, brass, synthesizers and cellos meet soft romantic lyrics and intelligent socio-critical themes. This totally crazy mix of styles is combined with crazy dance and extatic drive from distant galaxies.
