Run by Anatol Malinowski (Anatol, Złota Jesień, Sierść, Lounge Ryszards) since 2016, the label focuses on the extreme phenomena of contemporary popular music, most often releasing music by outsider artists standing in strong opposition to the music industry. Enjoy Life's roster spans a wide stylistic spectrum: from lo-fi punk bands, through experimental electronic, to idiosyncratic post-internet hip-hop. The second Enjoy Life Fest will focus primarily on this third part, although a noise set is also scheduled. The afterparty will consist of two DJ sets from jll and Szkoda back to back with Uncaame.
The line-up opens with Bella Ćwir. Queer artist, internet freak icon, singer, stylist, DJ, business woman, sexy mum - parody of celebrities. Known for hits such as: Szampan and Drogie Ciuchy, for which she created a music video in collaboration with Limanka Fashion House. Ms Popular, Ms Controversial, privately a feminist, because as she says herself: "men are ugly, women are cool". Ćwir's unusual vocals and free background music downloaded from the Internet quickly made her popular on the Internet. Crowds of fans were also attracted to her videos presented on YouTube, in which she boldly experiments with her stylings and shows that it is worthwhile to be oneself. She has 3 albums to her credit, La Bella Mafia, Lady Popular and the latest simply called Bella Ćwir from 2019. Since 2020, she has co-founded the experimental girl band Rock Angelz.
The second entry on the bill is Mlody Kotek. The Upper Silesian-born artist is best known for their albums Stan stunt (2018) and Tychy (2019), released for Enjoy Life, which addressed issues of memory, mysticism and their therapeutic role through the prism of lyrical magical realism and dreamlike reinterpretations of muzak and new age. At Komuna, during their first show in two years, Mlody Kotek will play music from their forthcoming final album Cały mój plan trzeba rozbić i pęknę to dobry znak mogę być całkiem ze szkła, which will be released via Enjoy Life in June.
Also returning to the stage after a prolonged absence is DJ Werset. Active since the beginning of 2017, the Warsaw-Poznan posse are forerunners of the avant-garde rap trend and promoters of hip-hop culture. The line-up closes with Furminator, a self-described noise boy band from Karkonosze, formed since 2021 by three acclaimed visual artists: Stach Szumski (electronics), Trash Todd (guitar) and Gregor Różanski (voice). They have played at, among others, the Borderline Noise Festival in Wolimierz and Bialystok's Up to Date.
