About Epos 257
Epos 257 (born 198?, Prague), whose identity is unknown, is a Czech artist working with the urban environment and iconography of the city. He is a graduate of the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design and a member of the interdisciplinary group Ztohoven. He has performed both solo and at many collective exhibitions in the Czech Republic and abroad. His work focuses mainly on the issue of public space – the way it is used and the limits of what is and is not public. His artistic interventions often target current social issues.
