JarmaRock Fest

JamaRock Fest is an annual festival of Ukrainian culture that has been taking place continuously since 1977. This year is its 43rd edition and the band Dakh Daughters will perform on this occasion, which consists of seven Ukrainian women. He grew out of the Kiev experimental theater Dakh. Their live performances combine elements of cabaret, punk, rock and rap with Ukrainian folk music. The unbridled creativity of the Dakh Daughters Band has made them one of the symbols of the country in the fight for democracy. The band Dakh Daughters performs original songs and musical adaptations of poems by famous authors (William Shakespeare, Taras Shevchenko, Joseph Brodski, and Charles Bukowski). The band gained wider recognition thanks to the music video for the song Roses / Donbass and their live performance at Majdan in 2013. Daughters Dakh performed in many Ukrainian cities, as well as in Poland, France, Russia, the United States and Brazil. In November 2016, the band released their first studio album If. Chumatskyi Shlyah - a band from Ukraine, which combines folk sound with rock music will also perform during the event. Their hallmarks are melodic guitar riffs, moving vocals and energetic concerts. They released two albums - Lorela and Самурай.
