From the beginning of the war, new Russian-speaking communities across Europe were created to help Ukrainian refugees, to manifest their anti-war and anti-Putin positions, and to unite like-minded people. The purpose of this Convention is to bring representatives of these communities together to interact and discuss common issues.

People from 14 countries representing 20 different groups and organizations will attend this Convention in Prague. Coming to take part in the Convention’s work are well-known Russian civil activists and experts including Karinna Moskalenko, Olga Romanova, Evgenia Chirikova, Vladimir Milov, Alexander Morozov, Ivan Preobrazhensky and others. The European Union will be represented by Andrius Kubilius, member of the European Parliament also the ex-Prime Minister of Lithuania, plus Russian affairs experts from Germany, Poland and the Czech Republic. Opposition activists from Russia will attend this event online. The public part of the convention will take place on July 3, workshops will take place on July 4.

Language for presentations and discussions is Russian.
