Franciszek Pospieszalski Sextet

Franciszek Pospieszalski Sextet is a unique blend of Polish musicians of the younger generation who, in search of new inspirations and in order to broaden the horizons of art, went to study at the Rhythmic Music Conservatory in Copenhagen. The ensemble's line-up is unconventional and its inspirations range from classical music to rock, jazz and improvised music. Franciszek Pospieszalski allowed his compositions to contain the Polish soul, impatient curiosity about the world and uncompromising attitude, in the sometimes difficult "controversial" sounds of the six-person line-up. It can be said that the band is composed of two trios, thus giving a predatory sound through two drum sets, two saxophones, nord electric piano and double bass. The concert promotes the well received, debut album of the sextet 1st Level. The album consists of original compositions from the borderland of jazz, improvisation and classical contemporary music, there will also be new compositions not included on any album yet.
