The second edition of a unique cultural and musical event whose theme is the full moon.
A phenomenon that has inspired and stimulated the imagination for centuries. It is a common point of many cultures, uniting mankind for hundreds of thousands of years. The festival wishes to appeal to human nature in its primordial form. To instincts, feelings, emotional states, but also to the foundations of culture created by legends, beliefs and rituals. It draws inspiration from, among other things, the traditions and rituals of the Slavs. It reaches back to ancient rituals, but also to completely contemporary ones. The festival wants to explore the instincts and emotions that have been present in people since the dawn of time through the eyes of modern man.
The FMAF will be a space for the expression of alternative musicians, visual artists and performers. Together, through various forms of expression, a space will be created that stirs the imagination and takes visitors on an extraordinary journey. The event is primarily a collective exhibition of visual and performing arts organised in the space of the Forester's House and in the surrounding forest. The exhibition will be accompanied by thematic workshops, shows, concerts and DJ performances. The event will be honoured by artists performing electronic music of a trance, ritual and ethnic nature. All this will be enhanced by decorations specially prepared for the occasion, inspired by folk motifs, and UV and RGB lighting creating a unique aura. These will be taken care of by Zwyrolix Squad (Powered by Mandala Design, Psy-Ho MADE) and Post Kryptum.
The venue for the event has also been chosen not by chance. It is the legendary Leśniczówka located in the heart of the Silesian Park, surrounded by a forest, ensuring proximity to nature, a unique atmosphere and ideally fitting into the character of the festival. The Campfire Zone will feature a concert of traditional songs Kwiotki w Pełni, a workshop on natural textile dyeing Colours from Nature, led by Ola Olof Nigbor, and her lecture What we know (and don't know) about the clothing and daily life of the ancient Slavs. In the Gastro Zone you will be able to eat from the White Rabbit food truck, and the craft stalls will feature My Sotache (Alicja Czaruje) jewellery and 3d paintings by Project_luna.
