Four years ago, at the tender age of fifteen, Marie Ulven, from Oslo, made two life-changing discoveries: firstly, after her first two relationships with boys, she found out she was a lesbian, and secondly, immediately after the discovery, she felt the instinctive desire to describe this change in a song. Since then, Marie Ulven, who has given herself the name Girl In Red as an artist, soon spent every spare minute in her bedroom composing and producing new songs, which in many cases deal with the subject of homosexuality in an extremely touching, natural way.
In the meantime, she has also released her first EP, Chapter 1 alongside a handful of songs. Currently she is working on the successor Chapter 2.
