Godspeed You! Black Emperor

Godspeed You! Black Emperor returned with a new, excellent album "Luciferian Towers" and as they usually used to go on a long tour. The mysterious Montreal collective is already classic today, placed in a row next to Swans, Mogwai, Sleep but also Sigur Ros and Radiohead. It has long since gone beyond the framework of post-rock drawing from classical and film music, metal or rock avant-garde. The new album of the Canadian team is still an angry manifesto, delighting with loud guitar expression, intensity of sound, but also the breadth of string arrangements and - as usual in the case of this band - apocalyptic climate.
