About Hubithekid
Hubithekid is a Wroclaw-based artist, vocalist and producer, known for his experimental sound, emotional lyrics and, above all, his music and image filled with Y2K aesthetics. In his songs you can hear echoes of various genres: from emo rap through pop-punk and glitchcore to hyperpop. He began his career under the pseudonym hubithekid in the underground emo-rap collective lottobois, occasionally contributing as a producer and teaming up with Maly Elvis and Young Yerba.
His first full-length was the Pamiętnik EP released in early 2019, where the aesthetic framework of what Hubi is most inspired by and focused on was outlined. Over time, the artist's emo-trap-pop-punk aesthetic and lyricism began to blend with a wider range of inspirations and evolve. Along with a worldwide wave of interweaving nostalgic pop electronica with soundcloud underground, Hubi's music has moved towards pop, hyperpop and more experimental sounds.
