The performance In My Hand a Word follows two figures looking at their hands. The longer they look at their hands, the more they lose their meaning. In this text, the hand is not only used as a metaphor, but also as an embodiment of one's identity. Their loss of meaning is as sad as it is liberating, because now a new meaning can be constructed. A duality of loss and restoration emerges.

In English language only.
