IPT Wójciński / Bańdur / Gucik - a piano trio performing spontaneously improvised music, inspired by a wide horizon of musical phenomena, ranging from classical music of past eras, through various jazz genres, to the achievements of contemporary music. The first meeting of musicians took place in 2015. Since then, they remain in touch, gaining new experiences that collide with each other, creating music full of associations and references to different genres. In 2018, the trio received the Andrzej Jakóbc award at the 48th edition of the Fama festival in Świnoujście.
Music IPT Wójciński / Bańdur / Gucik is a combination of free improvisation characteristic of free jazz, with a precisely composed form and numerous references to contemporary music: minimalism, sonorism, surconventionalism, and spectralism. The above elements in their performance create an organic, coherent whole, rare in music, which is composed only formally, and all elements such as harmony and melorythmics, seemingly the most important for reception are improvised.
