Izzy and the Black Trees is a quartet from Poznań playing music in which atmospheric Americana and slowcore coexist with post-punk energy. There is a noticeable raw energy in the band's sound that evokes associations with the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Patti Smith Band or Savages. In 2018, they released their debut EP, where guitar riffs meet the band's slightly quieter, ballad-like sound. Since then, they have released two studio albums, the most recent being Revolution Comes in Waves (2022), released on the iconic Polish post-punk label Antena Krzyku.
They will be joined by Tekla Goldman, a band that describes its work as a battle of energy with calm and a battle of simplicity with progression. The group was formed by a group of musicians who have been associated in the past with formations playing different music (from ethno to punk to metal) and who have had different musical experiences, such as Macio Labudzki, who was responsible for the drums and played in the groups Oranżada and Zywiołak. Tekla Goldman is a mix of siphon, rehearsal room, kraut and psychedelia. They describe themselves as playing "psychogaraze." The band is currently promoting its debut EP, which features 5 woozy, lo-fi tracks.
