About Izzy and the Black Trees

Poznań, Poland band who combine atmospheric Americana and slowcore with the hectic energy of post-punk and an emotional rawness that evokes comparisons with the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Patti Smith Band or Savages. In 2018, they released their debut EP, where guitar riffs meet the band's slightly quieter, ballad-like sound. Since then, they have released two studio albums, the most recent being 2022's Revolution Comes in Waves, released on the iconic Polish post-punk label Antena Krzyku.
