Venue description

The Jagiellonian University Museum is the first university museum in Poland. It is housed in one of the most beautiful buildings in Kraków: the famed Collegium Maius, the birthplace of higher education in these lands, which dates back to the 14th century. The museum has its origins in the Archaeological Cabinet of the University, founded in 1867 by Professor J. Łepkowski. Its collections now include scientific instruments, paintings, sculpture, prints and artistic crafts.
