The photographic works of Johannes Henschel on concrete desires were created in recent years in Western and Western-influenced cities (Cairo, Berlin, Detroit, Los Angeles, Milan, Belfast, Leipzig, New York, Boston, Wrocław). They show decline and unregulated creative will, fascination and turning away, and are both a burning glass and an escape from reality. The photographs criticise the status quo, question an uncertain future and can be seen at Heimathafen Neukölln until February 17, 2023.
