About Karolina Piechota
Polish actress and singer. She studied at the Warsaw Theatre Academy, which she graduated from in 2007. In the same year she became a permanent member of the Wybrzeże Theatre in Gdańsk, where she continues to perform to this day. She graduated from the Oscar Kolberg Music School in Radom at the Faculty of Vocal and Acting. She joined the small screen while still a student, creating the role of Patrycja in the famous TV series “Plebania”. (2006-2008). She also played a number of guest roles on TV productions: soap opera “Klan”, TV series “Na Wspólnej”, “Ojciec Mateusz”, sitcom “Faceci do wzięcia”, historical-war “Czas honoru”, and a criminal “Wydział Zabójstw”. The breakthrough in her career came in 2008, with her film debut in Maciej Pieprzyca’s highly acclaimed film “Drzazgi”. Together with the legendary Tri-City band Kobiety, she performs with a musical recital “Brecht's Rechot”, presenting Kurt Weill’s most famous songs to Bertold Brecht’s lyrics.
