An American jazz trumpeter with a succesful crossover career, Keyon Harrold has performed with the top echelon of pop music while forging a career for himself in sleek, contemporary, hip-hop-influenced jazz. Harrold's session playing credits include Jay-Z, Beyoncé, Rihanna, Eminem, 50 Cent, Anthony Hamilton, Gregory Porter, Mac Miller and Mary J. Blige. In jazz, he's collaborated with the likes of Robert Glasper and Christian Sands; he also supplied all the trumpet playing in the Miles David biopic Miles Ahead. He lists Davis' second great quintet, Prince, Common, Dr. Dre and J Dilla as primary musical influences. As leader, he's released three studio albums, the most recent one of which is 2024's Foreverland.
