A concert of three bands serving heavy psychedelia – the American King Buffalo with their new album and the Polish Red Scalp and Acid Sitter.
King Buffalo is a trio consisting of vocalist and guitarist Sean McVay, bassist Dan Reynolds and drummer Scott Donaldson. Since forming in 2013 the band have made a name for themselves with 4 EPs, 4 full albums and touring with the likes of Clutch, The Sword, All Them Witches and Elder. The band will visit Hydrozagadka together with Red Scalp, as part of the tour promoting their fourth album Acheron, on which the band expanded their sound, making it more spacious and fluid. Red Scalp is a Polish band playing stoner and doom. Formed in 2012, they released their first EP EP No. 1 in 2014 and debuted with the full-length album Rituals in 2016. The musicians describe themselves as space Indians and devotees of heavy riffs, old rituals and a fuzz sound. The band is also known on stage as the fathers of Red Smoke Festival. Acid Sitter, on the other hand, is a newly-formed Krakow sanatorium of non-trivial sounds, consisting of experienced psychonauts: Tetsuya Nara (Tumbling Walls, Rajka), Rafał Klimczak (Neal Cassady, Swiniary), Tomek Głuc (Neal Cassady, Nucleon) and Filip Franczak (Fraktale, Tumbling Walls, Kaseciarz). Acid Sitter’s music is a deep jump into the stream of psychedelic sounds full of punk energy.
