The main concert of the Before the Leaves Fall festival. It tells the story of the river basins stretching across the central belt of the country, but above all of their cultural, ethnographic context. Viewing the map of Poland from this angle, one paints before one's eyes the undulating direction of east-west musical exchange, which influenced performance mannerisms and repertoire. Poznańskie, Kaliskie, Sieradzkie, Opoczyńskie, Radomskie. Woven from an ethnic mosaic, the sub-regions, known from our own field research, will be presented on the basis of a common denominator, similarities of mannerism and style found in the local musicians, but also the transformations that occur in the ornamentation of the same melodies with the flow of the rivers. Each of the 'rivers' will be represented by its indigenous musicians, but their presence will be preceded by the screening of field films with our guests.
