A meeting from the "Book in the Theatre" series devoted to "Apocalypse at Glogowczow" by Adam Sroka.

Adam Sroka's Apocalypse at Glogowczow takes the form of a poetic play. It tells the story of an old actor who one day in the morning stops his car at a petrol station in Głogoczów and for some unknown reason is unable to get out. Strange things happen at the station, other people suddenly appear, and the protagonist becomes caught up in some hypnotic intrigue that takes place between dream and reality. He soon realizes - when he strays into Głogoczów in the morning - that he is participating in some apocalyptic, improbable situation which in fact concerns his whole life. The deeper he goes into his inner world, the more he is affected by this adventure and the more it leads him towards a kind of self-purification. The form of the text attempts to make a subtle reference to the style of the Apocalypse of St. John, obviously in a contemporary adaptation. The meeting with the author will be hosted by Dr. Lidia Koska, and fragments of the book will be read by actor Krzysztof Krupinski.

A link to the meeting will be made available on Facebook, YouTube channel and Theater Institute website.
