New tour of Kuba Badach, promoting his solo album “Oldschool”. After two years since his last concerts, the solo material will sound in clubs all over Poland, putting the audience in a dancing mood.
Oldschool was born against trends, for all those who long for ambitious pop. After almost thirty years of work on stage and musical activity as a vocalist, composer and producer, after hundreds of concerts and musical collaborations with a plethora of the brightest stars of the Polish scene, dozens of records co-created with numerous artists, Kuba Badach decided to create an album entitled Oldschool, which is the first solo, musically original album in the artist’s output. The album contains over a dozen compositions maintained in various styles. There are characteristic “jazz” sounds of Kuba Badach’s band, known from the album Tribute to Andrzej Zaucha. Present, i.e. Jacek Piskorz’s piano, Michał Barański’s double bass and Robert Luty’s percussion, enriched by the sound of Łukasz Belcyr’s guitar, Marcin Górny’s Hammond and Maciej Kocinski’s brass section (saxophone) and Piotr Schmidt’s (trumpet).
